Hendrick Motorsports driver William Byron withstood the challenge of an Overtime restart to secure the victory in the Blue-Emu Maximum Pain Relief 400 at Martinsville Speedway. Driving the No. 24 RAPTOR Chevrolet Camaro, Byron dominated the event by leading 212 of the races 403 laps. The race came down to the final restart, but Byron thwarted the advances of his competition and held on for his second NASCAR Cup Series victory of the season and fourth of his career.
