Limited edition of 541 made. On February 2011, aspiring NASCAR driver Ryan Reeds life was turned upside down when he was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and told hed never race again. Due to a strict diet and exercise regimen, Reed proved the doctors wrong, making his first national series start in a 2012 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The following season, he made his first start in the NASCAR Nationwide Series at Richmond International Raceway. In 2016, he returns to NASCARs second series with the Lilly Diabetes/American Diabetes Association as his primary sponsor. The American Diabetes Association and Lilly Diabetes have joined forces in the Drive to Stop Diabetes to lead the fight against diabetes and help those living with diabetes better manage the disease.
