While 2023 marks Caruths first season as a full-time driver, he is no stranger to racing in multiple NASCAR series. In 2022, he ran four Truck races and seven NASCAR Xfinity Series races, all while competing for the ARCA Menards Series championship. The Wendell Scott Foundation is a national, non-profit 501c3 named after Wendell Scott, the first African American racecar driver to win a NASCAR Grand National race. The foundation has awarded 25 scholarships, fundraised over $350,000, and worked with more than 4,000 students in their Steer STEM program, which not only offers STEM lessons, but also teaches careers preparation and counseling tools.
