MARK MARTIN 1982 APACHE STOVE BUICK GUN METAL 1/24 ACTION
Only 72 of these individually numbered cars were made. Back in 1982, Mark Martin was still The Kid. In his first full season at the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series level and his first DAYTONA 500 start, Martin wheeled the No. 02 Apache Stove Buick for car owner Bud Reeder. Though he finished 30th in that first race, he was 16th in the standings at the seasons end. Today, 40 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series wins and more than 800 races later, Martin is no longer the kid in the garage. Hes the veteran driver the kids go to for advice. Now, as part of the NASCAR Classics series, the die-cast of this early Martin car is available to collectors for the first time in both 1:24 and 1:64 scales. Highly detailed, this historic collectible celebrates one of the most successful and longstanding careers in motorsports.
