Then, on Sunday, May 26, Larson will be attempting a feat that few have dared before – racing his HendrickCars.com car in the Indianapolis 500, then hustling on the same afternoon back to North Carolina to race in the 600-mile race at Charlotte Motor Speedway to complete bookend the effort known as the Hendrick 1100. In a one-of-a-kind offering, Lionel Racing – the Official Die-cast of NASCAR®, in partnership with Greenlight Collectibles, is excited to offer the Qualifying Version of Larson’s No. 5 NASCAR Cup Series® car as well as the No. 17 HendrickCars.com Arrow McLaren Chevrolet that has locked into the prestigious Indianapolis 500. This set, which is unlike any two-pack of die-cast produced before, features a 1:24-scale Action Racing Collectibles (ARC) hood-open replica of Larson’s No. 5 Chevrolet, which will include all of the NASCAR® Salutes markings and updated logo placements seen on the car during qualifying and the 600-mile NASCAR Cup Series® race.
