Josh Berry emerged on the short track racing scene in the early 2010s with JR Motorsports and instantly became one of the most formidable Late Model drivers in the Southeast. Berry’s short track prowess led to NASCAR Xfinity Series® wins and now a full-time NASCAR Cup Series® effort. Back in 2013, Berry and sponsor Speedco Truck Lube & Tire, teamed up and had a stellar NASCAR® Weekly Series season racing at tracks in North Carolina and Virginia. As a keystone driver in the powerhouse JRM Late Model stable, Berry won two Late Model Stock Car races at Hickory Motor Speedway against some of the toughest short track competition in the country. All told in 2013, Berry had 24 top-10 finishes in 27 Late Model Stock Car starts. Berry’s outstanding early short track career can now be celebrated with the official Lionel Racing die-cast of the 2013 No. 88 Speedco Chevrolet Late Model Stock Car. Produced on Lionel’s updated Late Model tooling, this die-cast will be an accurate replica in 1:24 scale of the newer generation Late Model Stock Car. Each 1:24 die-cast features an opening hood, authentic body contour, hand-applied decals, and more.
