When Erik Jones fires up the No. 43 Chevrolet this May at Darlington Raceway, fans will be taken back in time to the year 1999 and a memorable paint scheme wheeled by a remarkable driver. Jones throwback ride will mirror the STP car driven by the late John Andretti for team owner Richard Petty back in 1999. Andretti took The Kings No. 43 to Victory Lane that year at Martinsville Speedway and now Jones will pilot the same paint scheme as a tribute to Andretti in the 2021 Darlington throwback event.
