CHARLIE GLOTZBACH 1969 DODGE CHARGER 500 1/24 UNIVERSITY OF RACING
Charlie Glotzbach fell in love with racing as a young boy in Indiana. Fortunately for him, he was able to turn his passion for going fast into a career that took him to NASCAR where he competed at the sport's highest level over parts of 15 seasons. He made his debut in NASCAR's premier series on October 16, 1960, at Charlotte Motor Speedway, finishing 28th. Eight years later, Glotzbach returned to the 1.5-mile track driving the No. 6 Dodge Charger 500 for Cotton Owens. He powered the car to a seven-second victory to earn his first of four career wins. Thirty-two years later after his debut, Glotzbach hung up his driving gloves for good. In addition to his four wins, he posted 38 top fives, 50 top 10s and 12 poles in 124 starts. For the first time ever, fans can order Glotzbach's 1969 No. 6 Dodge Charger 500 in die-cast form.
