Its not often that a driver can make their debut in a NASCAR national series race and have the crowd chant their name after the checkered flag falls, but thats exactly what happened to Brenden Butterbean Queen at North Wilkesboro Speedway. Queen, a 2023 CARS Tour Late Model winner at the historic North Wilkesboro track, made his first start in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series with TRICON Garage and wowed the crowd with an impressive fourth-place finish. With the support of Best Repair on the No. 1 Toyota Tundra, Queen was quickest in the pre-race practice session. He started the race in 26th due to qualifying being rained out, but Queen put on a show in the race that was appreciated by Bean Nation in the crowd.
